Sometimes it's the weird little purchases that make life enjoyable.
Right around the start of covid lockdown for some reason I bought some candy eyeballs for decorating. I think they maybe cost $2 and there were lots of them. Since then they've been a source of joy.
I made my nephew some little chocolate covered peanut butter soot sprites for Halloween that year and it blew his tiny mind. Since then they are occasionally put to random good use and bring more joy. What's better than a chocolate chip cookie that unexpectedly makes eye contact really Or a bowl of ice cream. Lol.
I spent most of my life pretty poor and cautious with money, but sometimes it pays to buy a weird little thing that brings you joy every once in a while.
