SUPER Fitness Motivation

Today, I introduced new exercises at my SPARTA Strength Class for all abilities and ages 65-95 at the Milano Senior Center in Melrose.

These rockstars crushed lateral walks, battle ropes, partner exercises, and weighted ball slams while having fun and building community.

Im so proud of them and looking forward to our next class!

Remember: It's never too late to get active!

I bent a thing I have been thinking about for a bit today. I am calling it the "Scrappy Light Butter Stick" .

The plan is to encase it in CNCd Acrylic and mount a transformer inside of it. Good for the people who don't want to see a transformer :)

I think I could fine tune its measurements a little. so its a little more square.

The shapes the scraps make in the welds are kinda fun. A monochrome one would be fun- as would a different color for each face.

More -Control Festival memories: Dirko showed me his small (but huge sounding) beautiful board that he had once built at a workshop by and asked me if there is a way to hack it for a more autonomous play. As the kit is already designed for extension and hackability it was fun and easy to add a powered TRS CV Jack () to it and drive it with the LFO.
