Adaptive HIIT: Fitness for Every Body
First time training with these rockstars Dan, Casey, Pranav, and Whitman all adults with I/DD (intellectual and/or developmental disabilities). And they came ready to work.
We met at the Fitness Court in Malden, and this wasnt a light session. They took on ball slams, battle ropes, pushups, partner drills, deep breathing, stretching, and a full HIIT circuit. Their effort, focus, and teamwork were incredible.
Thank you to Janis for coordinating this and I am grateful to be part of their journey.

Has anyone here attended Vacation Camp for the Blind (now called VISIONS Center on Blindness)
I am interested in going and would like to hear about your experiences. I'm basically seeking a good replacement for the Diamond Spring Lodge summer sessions, if anyone remembers those. They still exist in a new location and are now called VLANJ, but their sessions are once or twice a week, not residential, and they focus more on those with low vision and people who are losing their site. I am mostly interested in the fun aspects of such a place, not rehabilitation. If there are other places in America that would accept people from out of state (I'm in New Jersey), please let me know.
