Immensely that my purchased the set spontaneously. It was such a build and brought back some fond memories. The is impressive and very spot on! I had to dig out my old green Gameboy that still had in it. Its missing the battery case, which I found a replacement for, and Im excited to hand it off to my daughter once she old enough. Some cherished from the handheld.

China Ranch Date Ranch is in the Mojave Desert. Then we continued to Death Valley. But in this lush valley at China Ranch is a date farm. This video shows the forest of date palms with dates hanging in bags, yet to be harvested. What a great day!
Took a fantastic day trip to the Mojave Desert yesterday to the China Ranch Date Farm. The book girls, Flicka and Mable, came with me. Mable got a little sunburned. You'll be seeing more from China Ranch!!!

Stretching our legs to run past Hornshole and along the Teviot we passed a cottage that *always* works hard on their decorations. Ghost dogs and bicycles last year, pirates(ish) this.
Some artistic licence has been used - a dragon has sneaked in.
Two weeks to go but they do work hard.

I didn't bother to figure out what this relates to in which story. Something awesome and witchy and spooky is happening here, I know that. I think the book is supposed to be full of funny stories, I think there's a little dark humor happening here
Me and my girlfriend have been getting into bigger and bigger games recently and some of the games take up so much space on the table that we dont have a lot of room for sitting drinks or snacks. So I made these shelves that clamp on the edge to give us more room. What do you all think

I spent 6 years building a ridiculous wooden pixel display via Ben Holmen Shared
Six years ago I had an idea to build a large, inefficient display with a web interface that anyone could interact with. I've enjoyed Danny Rozin's unconvenional mirrors over the years and was inspired by an eInk movie player that played at 24 frames per hour that got me thinking about a laborious display that could slowly assemble an image.
I landed on the idea of a 4025 pixel grid of pixels, turned one by one by a single mechanism. Compared to our modern displays with millions of pixels changing 60 times a second, a wooden display that changes a single pixel 10 times a minute is an incredibly inefficient way to create an image. Conveniently, 4025 = 1,000 pixels, leading to the name Kilopixel...
