A couple of customers...
Well, I just had a nostalgia flashback recently and decided to bring a flooder back to life. I remember back in the day when zoo.gr and those chat rooms were trending, and we were like hungry chimpanzees in an open wholesale vegetable market.
While some people tried to play it cool, others, like us, were dumb enough to flood the entire chat with an automated text-input flooder. It made the rooms look like random, abstract ASCII art boards. Back then, there weren't even any message limits like there are nowadays.
So, I thought, let's bring back some nostalgia, and built a flooder just to remember the good old days. It's for Windows and comes with a GUI.

We watched 'Harold and the Purple Crayon' last night. It was adorable good fun. There's not enough Jemaine Clement in the world, I might add.

Cooking with Leftovers: Adapting Historic Spaces into Food Halls
Provided below are images from ten (10) of the best examples across the United States where once neglected historic buildings have been adapted and repurposed into amazing food halls and related entertainment venues. Those food halls whose names are shown in bold/italics have been visited by the blog author.
As can be seen, some truly amazing buildings have been renovated into top notch dining locations. Often, food halls will serve as an incubator for talented young chefs who cannot yet afford a freestanding brick and mortar location. At other times they are the food and entertainment centerpiece for larger mixed use developments. Images from Anaheim, St. Louis, Norwood, and Fort Wayne are excellent examples.
The historic buildings that were repurposed and renovated to create these vibrant hubs run the gamut of prior lives a stove factory, a hardware store, a dairy, an orange packing plant, and a maintenance garage to name a few. In two cases below (Asheville and Norwood), a former public cafeteria and an employee dining hall were each adapted into food halls.
Budd Dairy Food Hall Source: experiencecolumbus.comEach instance of a city cooking with leftovers to create/establish an iconic venue demonstrates how with ingenuity, a clever idea, and local backing/support, an unused or underutilized site can be transformed into a showplace of local pride and vitality. Each city below, and similar projects from elsewhere across the country, should be applauded for their exciting and successful efforts.
Peace and kudos!
